There are times that it is completely impractical to wear heels, or even a nice flat. Sometimes a sneaker is the right way to go, but there are many types of sneaker out there, and don’t be fooled, not all types are appropriate for everyday use. Unless you are currently en-route to the gym, are exercising outside, or are required by your job, cross trainers and running shoes are not appropriate footwear.
They may be comfortable, but since shoes set the tone of your outfit and people base their first impressions largely off of appearance, gym shoes make you look completely clueless when it comes to fashion. Not to mention, if you are wearing a fabulously put together outfit and then pair it with worn out gym shoes, you’re going to look sloppy which translates to “I don’t care about my appearance,” which further translates to “I don’t care about my life.” So here is a Do This, Not That: Sneaker Edition:
